Can I send a Simulated Live Stream on the same Live Channel I am also using for ingestion of streams from a live-encoder?
We do not recommend to use the same Live Channel for both Simulated Live Events ("Sim-Live") and Encoder-Ingested Live Events ("Live-Live”). We recommend to keep Simulated Live Events separated and keep your Live Channel(s) for encoder ingestion dedicated to the purpose of streaming “live-live” events (from the event-location, with a live-encoder).
If at all possible, use a separate Live Channel for Simulated Live Events in order to avoid connection conflicts with your live-encoder.
