Can Lightcast track the URL of the website the subscription player is embedded on?

The Lightcast EasyPay Multi-Platform Authentication System is designed to register subscribers on properties owned and operated by our Clients, such as the WebApp. Your custom-branded Subscription WebApp, which comes standard when ordering the Multi-Platform Subscription System, is the one place where your viewers subscribe. The system is not meant to be embedded on third-party websites beyond anyone’s control, as there are numerous risks involved. That said, if you wish to provide the embed code of a dedicated subscription player iframe with an integrated registration and sign-in form, and in addition you wish to track the URLs where the code will be embedded, and the URL of each registration and from which website it came from, then that is a custom development you have to have built, by us, or other developers.

Please keep in mind, that, as soon as you start to give out the embed code of a subscription player, you have no more control over its circulation and that it can be passed on endlessly to websites beyond your control, as you cannot prevent people who received the code from passing it on. In addition, subscribers will always be able to sign in on the player and watch at least the one video that was embedded. Basically, you will share the embed code of the subscription player (with the integrated registration form) for a specific video or live channel of your choice (which could be used for promotion/marketing in an advantageous way), which will trigger viewers to either register, or sign in if they already have a subscription. It would then be important to make sure that the websites you shared the embed code with, prominently promote on their websites, where subscribers should go after registering in order to be able to view all of your contents and find links to download all your apps to their devices in order to access and view all of the subscription-based content - and that destination is your Web App.
