Can we offer multiple subscriptions with different price tags in one and the same App?
Yes, that is possible. We can either configure it as a multi-tier subscription or multiple single-tier subscriptions.
Multi-Tier Subscription:
Viewers will have the choice to subscribe to a basic subscription with a lower monthly price tag or to a premium subscription with a higher monthly price tag. The premium subscription includes everything from the basic subscription + additional content of your choice.
Viewers with a basic subscription will be able to upgrade to the premium subscription at any time. And viewers with a premium subscription will be able to downgrade to the basic subscription.
Example:
Basic Subscription: Includes Channel A, Channel B, Channel C for $4.99/month.
Premium Subscription: Includes all Channels from the basic subscription + Channel D, Channel E and Channel F for $8.99/month.
We would not recommend to offer more than two subscriptions as this might confuse subscribers. Keep it as simple as possible.
Single-Tier Subscriptions:
Viewers will find a selection of multiple different subscriptions.
Example:
Subscription A: Includes Channel A and Channel B for $5.99/month
Subscription B: Includes Channel A, Channel B and Channel C for $6.99/month
Subscription C: Includes Channel E for $4.99/month
