Do we own our Apps if they were fully or partially sponsored by Lightcast?

Apps with sponsorships remain the property of Lightcast.com. Sponsored Apps mean that you are not paying for the Apps upfront or through a monthly lease-fee. Until purchased, the ownership remains with the entity which paid for it, which is Lightcast.com.

 

Unlike many other TV and Mobile App Developers, Lightcast.com offers a buy-out option even for sponsored, Lightcast SDK-based TV Apps, once the initial contract period has been fulfilled. Please also see our terms at: https://www.lightcast.com/terms/ ​

 

This of course has no impact on your ownership over all your content and graphics published within the Apps or your exclusive right to publish within the Apps and monetize your viewership.
