Do you provide daily reports on both free and paid app downloads?

"Free downloads” (total number of app downloads): Due to technical limitations with third-party platforms like Roku, Google and Amazon, who are unable to provide the download numbers to use via API, we can't display the download numbers in the Media Cloud. We are hoping that they will extend their APIs to include this long-awaited data item in the future. We have been waiting for it since years and as soon as the platforms start transmitting this data value, we will display it in the Media Cloud. 

That said, as development and hosting partner we have the ability to request the total number of channel/app installs for specific apps once per month. 

You can request this information via email from customercare@lightcast.com and we will inquire with the platforms on your behalf.


The number of paid subscriptions is available 24/7 within your Subscriber Database Account, along with your subscriber’s contact information and details on their payments. For this purpose, just log into your Subscriber Database Account under www.crosstribution.com with your Lightcast.com credentials and click on “easy pay subscriptions” and “easy pay invoices” at the top.
