Does Lightcast deduct video minutes for live streams published on YouTube?
No, YouTube is responsible for the streaming bandwidth used by their media player. Lightcast only charges for the pulling and pushing of the transcoded live stream from our CDN to YouTube, which results in two continuous viewers whenever your live stream is running. Aside from this there are no other charges for multi-platform transcoding of live-streams.
