Does Lightcast provide technical support for content providers that are using Channels within my Lightcast Media Cloud account?
Lightcast does not provide support for your content providers who are using your VOD/AOD/LIVE Channels or partially use your Lightcast package.
If you allow content providers to sign into your Lightcast Account directly in order to upload their contents, you are fully responsible for their contents, compliance, copyright infringements on their part, changes they might make to your account, publishing issues and issues with apps they might cause intentionally or unintentionally. You have to fully manage your account and your content providers.
Lightcast only has an agreement with you, thus our support representatives are only allowed to speak to you. Any support your content providers need in regards to being logged into your Lightcast account would have to be provided by you and your team.
Important Note:
Lightcast does have an Affiliate Partner program through which you can become a reseller. We have media agencies, integration vendors, content production and tech companies who have become Affiliate Partners and offer Lightcast services to their content providers, customers and business contacts, earning 7 cents of every USD they spend with Lightcast for life without having to be involved or invest any of their time. Each of their referred customers receive a Lightcast Account and service package of their own, and as a result, of course the full Lightcast support and service.
