How can I migrate over content to the 24/7 Cloud Scheduler?

If you are looking to migrate from your 24/7 scheduler equivalent to Lightcast there are a couple of steps you need to follow:

1.) The video files need to be uploaded to the Lightcast servers. This can be done a couple of ways.

a) Web Uploader: Uploading your videos via the web uploader:  https://player.lightcast.com/yUzMxMzN

b) FTP Upload: FTP is the easiest way to upload large amounts of files. Read more: https://help.lightcast.com/do-you-offer-ftp-batch-upload

c) LightcastAPI: The best method if looking to automate is using the Ingest API: https://mediacloud.lightcast.com/api/archives (you need to be logged in to see the API pages)

2.) Once your videos are uploaded on the Lightcast Servers, you can drag and drop your videos into the Scheduler:
