How can I publish my videos to my YouTube Channel?
You can publish each of your uploaded videos to your YouTube Channel by selecting the "Publish on YouTube" feature on the "Settings" page of your video. Please watch the video below to see where this feature is located in your Media Cloud account.
If this is your first time publishing a video to your YouTube Channel, you will have to connect your YouTube account with your Lightcast Media Cloud account first. Once you clicked "Publish on YouTube", a pop-up window appears (please disable pop-up blocker) which requires you to login to your YouTube account. Please follow the steps in the pop-up window. Once the connection to your YouTube account is established, you will see the name of your YouTube account displayed next to "Publish on YouTube" and an option to disconnect the YouTube account.
Please click on the "Update" button at the bottom of the Settings page in order to send the video to your YouTube Channel. When you click the "Update" button, the "Publish on YouTube" changes into following message: "YouTube publishing in progress". It may take a few minutes until your video is published to YouTube.
To see if the video was published to YouTube, please refresh the page. If the video was successfully published, you will see a message saying "Published on YouTube: Watch Video".
If it was not published successfully, you will see a message saying "YouTube publishing failed". Please read more about the reasons why a video wasn't published to YouTube.
