How do I interpret my monthly Unique Live-Stream Viewer Reports
The Live-Stream UIP Reports (UIP / Unique Viewer Counts by IP Address) will get you following information:
1. Unique Viewers (UIPs): are unique IP addresses counted once within 24 hours.
2. Unique Viewers are only counted once within 24 hours even if they watch multiple events on a Live Channel, close and return back to a live stream, or there are multiple viewers watching behind an IP address (such as behind a network IP address, or watching collectively in front of a screen). All of those multiplying factors are ignored in UIP reports.
3. On multi-bitrate configurations for live-streams: please also consider the UIPs displayed for each bitrate version separately, in order to give you insights on the demand of the different bitrates.
