How does Chromecasting work with Chromecast devices?
The web player passes the entire playlist of the VOD Channel to the Chromecast device. Due to memory constraints in certain Chromecast devices, this service is not recommended for VOD Channels with more than 40 items in the playlist.
Another contributing factor to Chromecasting not working with Chromecast devices is the length of the videos. If your videos are 30 minutes or longer, the Chromecast device might not be able to cast the content if you have 40 or more items in your playlist.
We recommend removing some items from your playlist if you experience issues casting your content through a Chromecast device.
