How necessary is the upward compatibility service for my mobile apps?
Usually it happens as often as once or twice a year that a new iOS or Android OS version requires an update to your mobile app. But it also happen that e.g. Apple releases a new OS version which is updated just a few weeks later by a newer version due to issue fixes of the previous version.
The Upwards Compatibility Service will also ensure that new features which we include in the base app framework are added to your mobile apps.
If you don't sign up for the Upwards Compatibility Service, you can see if an update becomes required by newer OS releases in the future. When that happens, you could just pay our discounted rate for the hours it takes our developers for the update of your mobile apps.
