How to ingest a live event stream

To ingest your live event stream into one of your LIVE Channels please do the following:

1. Enter the Stream Key and CDN Access Point (Server URL) into your live encoder. This is needed in order to point your 24/7 RTMP stream to one of your LIVE Channels which you can then add and remove from and to apps as you please via the App Builder and/or embed the LIVE Channel on your website using the Lightcast web player

You can find the Stream Key and CDN Access Point in your LIVE Channels "STREAM" tab:

2. Create a live event in your Live Channel. A live event is required in order to display the countdown in your apps and on the web player and to record your live event in case you have LIVE-to-VOD enabled. 

3. Start the stream from your encoder to your channel.
