Geo Blocking

I’m using Lightcast’s GeoIP Blocking feature for my publishing outlets. How can I watch my own content if it is blocked for my region?

As account owner of your Lightcast.com account, you can watch your media content, which you decided to block for your viewers, by logging in to your Lightcast.com account and by using the preview mode of your VOD Channels, LIVE Channels or single videos.

You can find the preview mode when clicking on a Channel inside your Lightcast Media Cloud and then clicking on the Channel Thumbnail next to the Channel name (a play button appears when hovering over the thumbnail). To preview single videos instead of a Channel, switch to your Channel Playlist and click on the video or audio thumbnail, which opens up the preview player. Alternatively, you can also go to “Media” (in the main menu) and click on the video thumbnail of one of your videos or audio files.
