Is there any way of bringing our Roku App more to the attention of Roku viewers?
All new Roku Apps of our clients are promoted under the top category "New" within the first month after launching on the Roku platform, to give the App a strong start. Not all Apps are promoted that way. It gives you exposure to new viewers, but it is not guaranteed that these new viewers will keep on watching your content long-term.
The App priority under a certain category is determined by primarily views and ratings from viewers. Of course Roku can move channels around per their own sympathies/preferences as well and they are not obligated to a specific automated sorting, but they are using views and ratings to allow the community to push favorite Apps to the top.
The most effective marketing strategy is usually to mobilize your entire following to rate the App. We recommend to promote your Roku App with your partners, newsletter subscribers and to market it through social media, your website and other marketing channels.
