There is an error message when trying to publish my video to YouTube. What can I do?
There can be several reasons why an error message will be displayed:
1. The connection to your YouTube account has failed. The reason for a connection issue can be either a change of your YouTube or Google login credentials (not by Lightcast.com, but by yourself or by someone else who has access to your YouTube/Google account), or that you are logged in to a different YouTube or Google account than the one who was originally connected to your Lightcast.com account at the time when you tried to publish this video to YouTube.
2. You didn't created a YouTube Video Channel in your YouTube account before publishing this video to YouTube: Read more
3. There is a temporary transfer issue to YouTube.
To resolve the publishing problem, please click either on "Publish this video to YouTube" again (if you are sure that your YouTube login credentials are the same than originally added when re-connecting the first time) and then on "Save" at the very bottom of the page, or on "Renew YouTube API Authorization" if you would like to be on the safe side and re-connect your YouTube account again by typing in the login credentials of your YouTube or Google Account. Once the API connection is established, please click on "Publish this video to YouTube" again and then on "Save" at the very bottom of the page.
If you still experience issues with the publishing of your videos to YouTube, please submit a tech ticket at help.lightcast.com. The Lightcast Tech Support will be glad to help you resolve the problem.
