Viewers are posting negative comments on the live-chat of my WebApp. What can I do?
Operating a live-chat feature on any website requires a minimum level of tolerance against negative comments. As long as we are on earth, we as humans tend to voice our opinions primarily when we disagree or when we believe to have reasons to complain.
If you feel that this is something you do not want to expose yourself or your audience to, please send customercare@lightcast.com an email requesting to deactivate the live-chat on your WebApp.
If you decide to keep your live-chats running then you could do following to handle negative feedback:
a. ignore it or you can always delete any unwanted comments through the Admin Features of the Chat
b. reply to it in a helpful manner
We recommend not to debate different views on worship styles, music, audio or video quality and negative feedback concerning your live-streams requires collection of necessary information in order for you to be able to locate the issue or to help the viewer resolve his/her own technical problems.
