Roku doesn't allow the publishing of multiple Roku Apps with the same name. Similar to domain URLs, a Roku app name exists only once. First come, first serve. If the goal is to submit a brand new Roku App with the same name than your existing public Roku App, there are two options: 1. Remove your existing Roku App from the public channel store(s). This would be necessary for us to submit your new Roku App under the same name. Disadvantage: You will loose your viewership which subscribed to your existing Roku App, and there would be no Roku App under your name for several weeks during Roku's review and approval process for your new App. 2. Migrate your existing Roku App to Lightcast's developer account. The advantage is, that we will be able to submit your new Roku App as "app update" of your existing App, which means that you will be able to keep your viewership which you've built up over the years, and your Roku App would be up and running even during Roku's review process for the App update. There is no removal of your Roku App necessary like with option 1.
