Many publishers utilize all of these monetization tools and revenue sources in combination, but it all depends entirely on your business plan. Some publishers have a completely different business model, independent from any of the above monetization strategies. 

That said, in general, Lightcast recommends to utilize a combination of at least 3 to 5 different monetization tools and revenue sources in order to sustain your streaming projects and brand visibility, cover your costs and build growing profit margins for your business.
