What is a Sub Channel?
A Sub Channel is like a sub-category for your Channels. It is designed to create and manage sub-categories for your publishing properties such as your Roku App, allowing you to further sub-divide your media content and to add an additional navigation tier within your publishing properties.
You can use this feature to:
1. Group videos in a channel by topics or themes.
2. Create and manage sub-categories in your TV and mobile Apps - provided the Sub Channels feature is built into your TV Apps and mobile apps. Please ask customercare@lightcast.com for a quote.
3. Organize your videos within a Channel and make the navigation in your TV Apps and mobile apps more user-friendly. Especially if you have more than 20-30 videos in a VOD Channel, the Sub Channel feature helps viewers to better find their content of interest.
