What is an AOD Channel ID?

The Channel IDs are unique IDs used for each Channel as an identifier. Channel names can be changed easily, but Channel IDs are unique and cannot be changed. Channel IDs are important for communication between publishers and app/web developers and also correspond to the ID in the Channel database on the CDN. 

Channel IDs are not visible to viewers. They are just used for internal communication and for the Channel database. 

You can find the Channel IDs within your Media Cloud account by clicking on "Channels" in the left-hand menu, then on Audio On-Demand and then click the AOD Channel you need the Channel ID for:
