When will changes to my VOD-to-LIVE continuous loop become effective?
Changes such as newly assigned videos, removal of videos or deactivation of videos will become effective at midnight (EST timezone). At this time the VOD-to-LIVE loop is automatically refreshed and changes are being locked in for the following day and onwards. Basically, any changes you make to the loop are reflected after midnight when the loop is refreshed on our servers, provided changes in the playlist are done latest at 23:50 EST.
The VOD-to-LIVE Service of Lightcast.com is a true live-stream. It is not just a binge-playlist, loading VOD files one after another, but the Lightcast Media Cloud generates a true linear, looping stream which loops and restarts at midnight EST every day, to incorporate any changes you might have programmed into the VOD Channel.
