Our Core Datacenter and US Transcoding Farm is located in Ashburn, VA, and was previously located in Matawan, NJ. We monitor and transcode all live-streams in Ashburn, which results in two continuous viewers whenever your live-stream is running. This covers the input and output bandwidth for the live-transcoding process and the live-stream-monitoring. This is how we account for this type of bandwidth and the live-transcoding service. Aside from there, there are no other charges for multi-platform transcoding of live-streams. For this reason you will see stats displayed for Ashburn, VA and previously from Matawan, NJ when using the filter “city” in the Analytics Center.
