Why aren't my LIVE-to-VOD recordings showing up after streaming to a LIVE-to-VOD Channel?
Here are some reasons why your LIVE-to-VOD recordings may not be in your Media > Live Recordings section after streaming to a LIVE-to-VOD Channel.
- You have a multi-bitrate setup for which multiple Live Channels are used to setup the multi-bitrate streaming (e.g. high quality, medium and low quality). One of the Live Channels from the multi-bitrate group is considered your primary Live Channel which the live stream needs to be sent through, but you were sending your stream only through one of your other Live Channels in the multi-bitrate group (= secondary channels). Please make sure you are sending the stream to your primary Live Channel.
- The Live Channel you are streaming to does not have the LIVE-to-VOD feature enabled for it.
- Your encoder is still sending a stream to your LIVE-to-VOD Channel. The recording will only stop if you stop your encoder to send a live stream. We also do not recommend streaming longer than 5 hours to a LIVE-to-VOD Channel as this feature is primarily meant to be used for Live Event Channels for which streams aren't exceeding 5 hours.
- The stream to your LIVE-to-VOD Channel ended prematurely (less than 5 minutes after streaming started).
