Why does Lightcast not include all Add-On features in its Service Packages?

Lightcast.com is a streaming provider. We would not have to provide many of the Add-Ons on our a-la-carte service menu, as many of these would normally be built by the developers of our customers, on our customers websites and apps, entirely independent from Lightcast. In order to relieve our customers from further development work of their own, and to provide cost-efficient alternatives to other providers, or in-house development of our customers, we do offer a variety of Add-On services. 

Example -  Graphic development for your custom-branded TV, Mobile and WebApps: this is not a streaming service, and its cost should not be included in your ongoing Service Package. Publishers could pay their own graphic designers to create all the required graphics necessary for App development. However, we take pride in supporting media startups which may not have the necessary talents on payroll to design and create the required artwork. We therefore offer Add-On services for those who want to save enormous amounts of time, headaches and money by ordering them from Lightcast instead.

If we included every available Add-On feature into the packages, the price for each Service Package would go up significantly, forcing every publisher to pay for a vast number of Add-Ons they will never use. Instead, we keep the monthly or annual Service Packages for media hosting and streaming services low, while providing an a-la-carte Add-On menu from which to choose additional services for maximum flexibility, cost-efficiency and fairness.
