Why does my linear stream show a blue background image in the Live Channel player before the stream loads?

The blue background graphic saying "A Lightcast Broadcast" is a placeholder graphic and appears only when no Player Background graphic is uploaded for Live Event Channels. We recommend to switch the type of your Live Channel to a "Linear Stream" Channel if you are using the Live Channel mainly for your linear stream. This will remove the placeholder graphic.

In case you are using the Live Event Channel for both linear streams and live events, and you would like to replace the blue placeholder graphic, you have 2 options to remove the blue placeholder graphic:

2. We can remove the countdown plugin for your Live Channel which would remove the blue placeholder graphic. However, we don't recommend removing the countdown plugin as the player would not show a countdown to your live event anymore.
