Why is my Roku app showing the channel description below the live event title instead of the live event description?
The reason why your Roku app shows the channel description instead of the live event description is because most likely the description for your live event is too long.
If the event description is longer than 310 characters, the channel description is used instead. This is not a limitation with Lightcast but a limitation with Roku itself.
In order to prevent this from happening, please be sure to use a shorter description of 310 characters or less for your live events.
