Will FTP Credits be refunded for failed uploads or corrupted files which do not pass the file-integrity-check and cannot be transcoded?
Lightcast.com is not liable for the integrity of your uploaded video files, nor for your file formats, file types, or file sizes you are attempting to upload, nor for your internet connection, computer hardware, software or virus issues, or other sources of issues caused during uploads which can damage files and render them non-transcodable/streamable.
Please note that the file-size limit of standard FTP uploads is 15GB, that files larger than 15GB will not be passed on to transcoding and that used FTP Credits will be lost.
That said, FTP Credits are very inexpensive and can be purchased conveniently inside the Usage box on the Media Cloud Dashboard at any time.
