Will LIVE-to-VOD recordings start and stop only with the event times or will they record whenever we broadcast?
The recording will start when your encoder connects to the LightcastCDN and will end only after the encoder is manually disconnected.
Please note that it can take a few seconds up to a few minutes for the recording to start. We recommend to schedule your event to include a 5 minute buffer at the beginning in order to make sure all noteworthy parts of the event are recorded properly from the start. You can use the cloud-trimming tool to cut away any excessive recording in the beginning.
Please also note that if you stream multiple events back to back, please disconnect your encoder in between live events.
